Il tempo passa e le informazioni riguardanti la prima serie live action a tema Star Wars continuano a fuoriuscire da ogni angolo del web. Come sempre, a parlare di elementi esclusivi da The Mandalorian è MakingStarWars.net, che questa volta sembra aver ricevuto notizie riguardanti la navicella che piloterà il Mandaloriano.

Nonostante sia sempre più probabile che la serie sarà ambientata 5 anni dopo Episodio VI, la nave del protagonista sembra provenire dall’era di The Clone Wars:
Sources keep saying the show is about 5 years after Return of the Jedi at this point. So we may be out a year or two further in the time line than we once thought. The reason this is notable is that the ship the Mandalorian flies is rumored to be a Clone Wars era craft. So in other words, the ship is pretty old at this point in the story and has seen some action.
Nonostante non siano stati resi noti dettagli sul suo design, il nome di questo mezzo spaziale pare essere The Razorcrest. Non è però certo se questo sia solo un nome provvisorio o meno.
We believe the ship is called The Razorcrest. However, there is always the off chance that is the title of the ship design itself. We have that name confirmed with two sources and one calls it a Razorcrest and the other The Razorcrest. So right now, it is hard to pin that down. The name is pretty badass, so I hope it is the name of the ship itself.
Un nome ad effetto, che accostato alla vociferata capacità della navicella di ibernare nella grafite. Non a caso proprio in The Clone Wars i jedi utilizzano questa tecnologia per nascondersi dai nemici (stagione 3, episodio 18).
Un design inedito per The Mandalorian?
Tanta la carne al fuoco, ma nessuna di queste informazioni è ancora confermata. Ciò che sembra certo, però, è che la navicella possiederà un design mai visto prima, dato che lo speeder mandaloriano visto in The Clone Wars non era in grado, ad esempio, di ibernare i nemici. La tecnologia dell’ibernazione in grafite è stata perfezionata solo durante l’era Imperiale, come possiamo vedere in Episodio V.
